We guide our clients through the land development process, from initial planning through project completion. First we evaluate the needs of clients. Who we Are
Trevor Tast, PE
Trevor N. Tast is the founder and President of Summit Group SW INC. and TX2 Engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University. Trevor worked at various civil engineering firms in Kansas before relocating to Texas in 2015. After moving to Texas, Trevor joined a local firm where he grew into a project management role, and in the spring of 2019 he founded TX2 Engineering Inc.
Trevor has design and project management experience in several facets of Civil Engineering. He has designed and/or reviewed projects that range in size and variety from commercial pads to thousand-acre single family developments. These projects include mixed-use, multifamily, industrial, warehouse, commercial, and single-family developments. Trevor is passionate about his work. He believes in design concepts that are site specific and can be constructed efficiently.
Trevor values building lasting relationships with clients and prides himself on taking the time to know each client personally. Outside of the office, Trevor enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their two daughters, Cecilia and Charlotte.
Evan Calhoun, EIT
Evan Calhoun is an Assistant Engineer with TX2 Engineering. Evan began his career by gaining valuable construction knowledge in the field and now utilizes that experience as a Civil Engineer. Evan enjoys helping clients achieve their goals and assists in all phases of TX2 projects, from initial planning and design to successful project completion. Evan completed his undergraduate engineering degree at New Mexico State University and currently resides in New Braunfels, Texas.
